Jollytots is a ABC’s parent/carer toddler group that was voted one of the best Toddler Group’s in Wales by Netmums and is held every Wednesday during the School Term.
The weekly sessions begin at 9:15am. As people tend to arrive at various times, tea and coffee are available at the self service counter in the Atrium area during the first hour. Whilst you enjoy your cuppa the children can make use of the colouring table and arts/crafts table, with the supervised activity of the week which could be painting, craft, playdough and many other activities. During this time the main hall, middle room and minor hall areas are also available with various toys, jigsaws, blocks, sand, bikes and cars etc. During the summer months there is also an outdoor area for water play.
At 10:15am we all gather in the atrium area where the children will receive healthy snacks and either milk or water to drink. High chairs are available along with disposable bibs and wet wipes which are provided for your convenience. Baby food or bottles can be heated in the kitchen area if required.
After snack time all the areas are available once again for free play until 11am which is tidy up time!
At 11:05 we get together in the Atrium to sing whilst the children play along with their musical instruments. During this session we also sing Happy Birthday to all those with a birthday that week. They will also receive a birthday cake and card.
We have a large car park at the church so access with push chairs and buggies is easy from the car park straight into the church with no steps to navigate! We have great facilities on-site including a full commercial specification kitchen, toilet facilities, a baby changing room is located just outside the main hall doors, and there are potties available in both the ladies and men’s toilets.
A contact form is available for you to complete so that you can be notified if Jollytots is cancelled at the last minute and your children can receive a birthday card and cake to celebrate their big day! Aside from the weekly sessions, we have an annual trip in June/July to a local children’s attraction such as Folly Farm.
We do not make a charge for the weekly sessions, but there is a donation box should you wish to make a contribution. Monies placed in this box cover the food and drink that you and your children will receive. Craft, materials and ongoing costs are funded by ABC church.
So what are you waiting for? Whether you are a mum, dad, grandparent, childminder or carer of a baby or toddler you will be welcome at Jollytots every Wednesday from 9:15 to 11:15 am.
